This is the funny thing with busking, you can do a great set on a certain day and yet the response might not be as good as a different day, when you may feel you haven't played well but the crowds seem to like it.
There are so many variable in this equation; the time of day, the weather, songs one plays and how one feels, the instrument and so on...
